Welcome Parents!

North East Carolina Preparatory School is pleased to welcome your family to our school! We are pleased you have chosen this public charter school for the education of your children. We are committed to providing a high quality instructional program at all levels and seek your support to help your child take full advantage of every opportunity to become successful. Specifically, we ask that you discuss the day’s assignments with your child, every day. For the best results, set up a quiet area and a time for completing homework. We ask you to communicate frequently with your child’s teachers and partner with these educational professionals to help your child reach the highest level of academic success.

All teachers have an email address and can receive messages from our main phone line at 252-641-0464. It is important for each student to come to school on time and prepared to work every day. Review the Student Handbook and help your child understand NECP’s expectations and rules.

We expect everyone to abide by the rules and treat each other with respect! We hope you will become involved in the activities in your children’s classrooms and NECP as a whole. When you have concerns, please discuss them with your child’s teachers first and then reach out to our administrators if you need additional support or services. Thank you for choosing North East Carolina Preparatory School! Go Huskies!
